  • Digital Ally, Inc. (NASDAQ: DGLY) shares jumped 64.8 percent to $6.80. Gun manufacturers rose after a deadly shooting in downtown Dallas. Three people were in custody while a fourth suspect exchanged gunfire with police authorities. A sniper fatally shot 11 officers, five fatally.
  • Euro Tech Holdings Co Ltd (NASDAQ: CLWT) shares surged 48.4 percent to $3.28 after the company reported that its subsidiary, PACT Environmental Technology Company has been awarded a contract worth around US$ 6 million.
  • Eleven Biotherapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: EBIO) shares climbed 43.9 percent to $2.82 after the company reported the effectiveness of IND application for EBI-031.
  • Stereotaxis Inc (NASDAQ: STXS) rose 24.8 percent to $1.26 as the company reported that Texas Children's Hospital in Houston has installed its Niobe ES system.
  • Mitel Networks Corporation (NASDAQ: MITL) shares gained 17.5 percent to $7.08 after Polycom revealed that its board has approved the cancellation of its previously announced merger agreement with Mitel Networks. The company will have to pay a termination fee of about $60 million. Polycom said it received a unilaterally binding offer from Siris on July 7 to acquire all outstanding shares for $12.50 per share in cash.
  • Resolute Energy Corp (NYSE: REN) surged 16.9 percent to $3.45 as the company agreed to sell Permain Basin mid-stream assets.
  • Barracuda Networks Inc (NYSE: CUDA) shares climbed 15.6 percent to $17.93 as the company reported stronger-than-expected results for its first quarter. The company reported that CFO David Faugno will be stepping down and current chief accounting officer, Dustin Driggs, will replace Faugno.
  • Polycom Inc (NASDAQ: PLCM) shares gained 12.8 percent to $12.27 after the company revealed Friday that private equity firm, Siris Capital Group, LLC and its affiliates, have submitted a unilaterally binding offer to buy all outstanding shares for $12.50 per share in cash.
  • TASER International, Inc. (NASDAQ: TASR) shares gained 7.1 percent to $27.59 after Dallas police shooting.
  • Gap Inc (NYSE: GPS) gained 5.1 percent to $22.74. Gap reported a 2 percent rise in its comparable sales for June, while total sales increased to $1.57 billion from $1.54 billion.
  • Capital One Financial Corp. (NYSE: COF) rose 4.4 percent to $64.64. DA Davidson upgraded Capital One Financial from Neutral to Buy.
  • Smith & Wesson Holding Corp (NASDAQ: SWHC) shares rose 4.2 percent to $29.47 after a deadly shooting in downtown Dallas.
