Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

  • Wall Street expects General Electric Company (NYSE: GE) to report its quarterly earnings at $0.45 per share on revenue of $31.53 billion. General Electric shares rose 0.34 percent to $32.70 in after-hours trading.
  • Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ: SBUX) posted in-line earnings for its fiscal third quarter, but the company’s revenue fell short of estimates. Starbucks shares dropped 2.66 percent to $56.07 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect American Airlines Group Inc (NASDAQ: AAL) to report its quarterly earnings at $1.56 per share on revenue of $10.27 billion. American Airlines shares declined 0.43 percent to $34.81 in after-hours trading.
  • Pandora Media Inc (NYSE: P) reported a narrower-than-expected loss for its second quarter, but the company missed analysts’ sales expectations. Active listeners also declined 1.6 percent year-over-year to 78.1 million at the end of the quarter. Pandora shares dipped 7.42 percent to $11.11 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Whirlpool Corporation (NYSE: WHR) is estimated to report its quarterly earnings at $3.37 per share on revenue of $5.13 billion. Whirlpool shares slipped 0.33 percent to $182.11 in after-hours trading.
  • AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) reported weaker-than-expected revenue for its second quarter. However, the company’s earnings met estimates. AT&T shares slipped 0.92 percent to $42.13 in the after-hours trading session.

  • Analysts are expecting Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE: HON) to have earned $1.64 per share on revenue of $10.13 billion in the latest quarter. Honeywell shares rose 0.46 percent to $119.21 in after-hours trading.
  • Paypal Holdings Inc (NASDAQ: PYPL) posted in-line earnings for its second quarter. However, the company exceeded analysts’ sales expectations. The company raised its revenue forecast and announced a partnership with Visa. Paypal shares dropped 2.07 percent to $39.30 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Visa Inc (NYSE: V) reported upbeat earnings for its third quarter, but missed analysts’ revenue estimates. Visa shares rose 0.08 percent to $78.85 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Wall Street expects SunTrust Banks, Inc. (NYSE: STI) to report its quarterly earnings at $0.88 per share on revenue of $2.14 billion. SunTrust shares fell 0.23 percent to close at $43.17 on Thursday.
  • Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMD) reported a narrower-than-expected loss for its second quarter on Thursday. AMD shares surged 7.28 percent to $5.60 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Skechers USA Inc (NYSE: SKX) posted weaker-than-expected results for its second quarter on Thursday. Skechers USA shares tumbled 15.35 percent to $27.24 in the after-hours trading session.
