Dreyfus Strategic Municipal Bond Fund, Inc. and Dreyfus Strategic Municipals, Inc. Announce Co-Primary Portfolio Manager Appointment

On July 25, 2016, at a meeting of the Boards of Dreyfus Strategic Municipal Bond Fund, Inc. (NYSE: DSM) and Dreyfus Strategic Municipals, Inc. (NYSE: LEO), each Board approved the appointment of Daniel Rabasco as co-primary portfolio manager for its respective Fund. Mr. Rabasco will join Jeffrey Burger as co-primary portfolio manager of each Fund. The Dreyfus Corporation ("Dreyfus") continues to be the investment adviser for the Funds.

Mr. Rabasco, CFA, is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for Tax Sensitive Fixed Income, overseeing and guiding the investment management process. Prior to being named CIO, he was Head of Trading for Tax Exempt Bonds, responsible for managing the municipal bond trading desk. Mr. Rabasco joined the company in 1998 from Fleet Investment Advisors. At Fleet, he directed the municipal bond group which managed mutual fund, common trust fund, and high net worth client assets. He was also vice president and portfolio manager at Evergreen Investments where he managed national and state specific mutual funds. His other responsibilities included hospital and high yield credit analysis. Mr. Rabasco began his career in municipal bonds in 1987 at Liberty Insurance Company as an analyst. He has an M.B.A. from Suffolk University and a B.A. from Boston College. Mr. Rabasco has served as a member of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board's Investor Advisory Group (2004-2008), holds the CFA® designation and has 29 years of investment experience.

Mr. Burger, CFA, is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Tax Sensitive Strategies. He manages tax-sensitive strategies for institutional, high net worth, and mutual fund clients. Previously, he served as a Senior Analyst for Standish, specializing in land secured and special tax bonds. Prior to joining Standish, he worked at Columbia Management as a portfolio manager and senior research analyst and previously held a senior level analyst position at Fitch Ratings. Mr. Burger earned an M.P.A. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and a B.A. degree, cum laude, in policy studies and public relations from Syracuse University. He is a former Chairman, member of the Executive Committee, and Board of Governors of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and is a former president of the Boston Municipal Analysts Forum. Mr. Burger holds the CFA® designation and has 18 years of investment experience.
