Non-executive Director Appointment

Adam Keswick has been appointed to the Board as a Non-executive Director with effect from 1st September 2016.  He will become Deputy Chairman and will also join the Remuneration and Nominations Committees, positions previously held by Lord Leach prior to his death.  Geoffrey Howe will replace Lord Leach as Chairman of the Nominations Committee.

Adam is currently based in Hong Kong and is Deputy Managing Director of Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited and a director of group companies Dairy Farm International Holdings Limited, Hongkong Land Holdings Limited, Jardine Strategic Holdings Limited and Mandarin Oriental International Limited. From 1st August 2016 Adam will be undertaking a new group role based in London, while remaining a director of Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited and the other group companies.

Notes:

Adam Keswick has held a number of executive positions in the Jardine Matheson Group since joining it from NM Rothschild & Sons in 2001, including group strategy director and group managing director of Jardine Cycle & Carriage.  He is Deputy Chairman of Jardine Matheson Limited and, in addition to his directorship of the group companies referred to above, is also a director of Yonghui Superstores Co., Ltd and Zhongsheng Group Holdings Limited.  Adam is currently Chairman of Jardine Pacific Limited and Chairman and Chief Executive of Jardine Motors Group Limited.  He is also a director of Ferrari N.V. and a Council member of the China Entrepreneurs Forum.  Adam was a director of OHTL Public Company Limited until April 2016.

There are no additional matters that would require disclosure under LR 9.6.13 R (1) to (6) in respect of Adam Keswick.
