Crown Holdings Selects Rose Lee To Its Board

Crown Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCK) revealed Friday that it selected Rose Lee, a manufacturing industry executive, to its board of directors taking the board strength to 13.

The company indicated that Lee is president of DuPont Protection Solutions, a global business unit of E I Du Pont De Nemours And Co (NYSE: DD).The unit manufactures and distributes key DuPont brands like Tyvek, Kevlar and Corian.

Before joining DuPont last year, Lee spent one and half decades with Saint-Gobain in several general management, tactical planning and information technology roles. Every position carried increasing responsibility.

Most recently, she was the VP, Innovative Materials Sector for five years from 2010 to 2015. She also held different engineering and management positions at Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies company. She was a senior consultant at Booz, Allen & Hamilton in New York City.

Crown Holdings chairman of the board, John Conway, said, "We are very pleased to welcome Rose to the Board. In addition to extensive general management experience and proven leadership abilities, Rose brings to the Company a deep knowledge of operations, engineering and technology as well as a broad global perspective."

The stock traded down by $0.62 or 1.16 percent at $52.67 on Friday at time of writing.
