The top three telecom services providers in the United States would start accepting preorders for Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from
August 3. Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE: V),
AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) and T-Mobile US
Inc (NASDAQ: TMUS) made the announcement.
The launch comes ahead of the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL)'s rumored iPhone 7 launch next month.
Verizon indicated that Galaxy Note 7 would be available in its stores for purchase on August 19. Similarly, T-Mobile and
AT&T have also disclosed that the device would be available in their stores from the same date.
Predictably, these companies offer different schemes to lure their customers. For instance, T-Mobile said that it would provide
an offer of $32.50 for 24 months to its customers while AT&T is making available the device for $29.34 a month for 30 months.
Similarly, Verizon has 24-month scheme with low payments. The retail price for Samsung Galaxy 7 Note is $849.99.
The news failed to have any impact on the stock. It would not likely to have a big financial impact to change the
sentiments.
