As Announced, Viacom International Media Networks Secures Multi-Territory Deal
SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 2, 2016) - Wynonna Earp, from IDW Entertainment, a subsidiary of IDW Media Holdings
(OTC PINK: IDWM), and SEVEN24 Films, has been renewed for a second season by Syfy in the US and continues to grow
internationally. Per C21 Media, the series has now been picked up by the Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) to air on
Spike in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Belgium, the Middle East, and Africa.
Developed by Showrunner and Executive Producer Emily Andras, the series stars Melanie
Scrofano, Shamier Anderson, Tim Rozon, and Dominique
Provost-Chalkley. The plot is based on the IDW Publishing graphic novel from Beau Smith and follows
Wyatt Earp's descendent as she battles demons called revenants who Wyatt put down and are back to curse the Earp family.
The series is produced by SEVEN24 Films, with IDW Entertainment controlling the worldwide rights. Wynonna Earp is
distributed internationally by Dynamic Television, which sealed the deal with VIMN. SEVEN24's Jordy Randall and
Tom Cox, IDW's Ted Adams and David Ozer, Banditos Yanquis' Todd
Berger, and Circle of Confusion's Rick Jacobs serve as Executive Producers.
Season two is set to air on Syfy in 2017.
