BMO Investments Inc. Announces Plans to Terminate Certain Series NBA and Series NBF

T.BMO

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 15, 2016) - BMO Investments Inc. (BMOII) today announced the termination of certain Series NBA and Series NBF (the "Series").

Series Terminations

Series NBA and Series NBF of each of the following funds will be terminated effective on or about October 21, 2016 (the "Termination Date"):

Fund Series
BMO Bond Fund NBA and NBF
BMO Asset Allocation Fund NBA
BMO International Value Fund NBA and NBF
BMO U.S. Equity Fund NBA and NBF

Effective immediately, the Series are no longer available for additional purchases, including Continuous Savings Plans (CSPs) or Pre-Authorized Contribution Plans (PACs). Investors' existing CSPs or PACs will be cancelled.

In light of the changes described above, investors holding Series NBA securities or Series NBF securities have several options. Investors may continue to hold Series NBA or Series NBF securities until the Termination Date. If they do so, those securities will be redeemed entirely on the Termination Date and investors will be paid the proceeds if they hold their investments in a non-registered account. Investments held in a registered account will be transferred automatically into BMO Money Market Fund.

Investors may also switch their Series NBA securities or Series NBF securities - if they are qualified - for securities of another BMO Mutual Fund, or redeem their securities entirely and receive the redemption proceeds in the normal course.

BMOII encourages investors who hold Series NBA securities or Series NBF securities to contact their investment advisors to determine the option that best meets their investment needs and circumstances.
