Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) and rumors are
inseparable. The latest rumor is that the launch of iPhone 7 might happen later than the earlier predictions.
Normally, Apple announces the launch event during the final days of August or early September. This was the practice in the past
four years.
9to5Mac noted rumors and speculators started floating
news that Apple would schedule an event after Labor Day, which is September 5. Therefore, speculation points to the possible event
date as September 7.

However, the most recent leak from AT&T suggested the iPhone launch could happen either on September 9 or
September 23 based on merchandising resets. The resets indicated the company might start advertising for pre-orders for September.
However, the fresh models could hit the market on September 23. This means the event could happen a week later than the earlier
predictions.
Apple maintains a gap of seven to 13 days between pre-orders and launch. In 2014, the gap was seven days, while it was 13 days
in 2015.
