Appointment of Non-Executive Director

 

Staffline, the Staffing services, outsourcing, training and Employability organisation, providing people and operational expertise to industry is pleased to announce the appointment of Tracy Lewis as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

 

Tracy brings with her a wealth of senior management experience in retail and manufacturing. Most recently Tracy was CEO of Wacoal Europe (formerly Eveden Group), a leading designer and manufacturer of premium lingerie and swimwear brands. Tracy joined the business in 2003, taking it from private to PE backed, and then oversaw a trade sale to Japanese headquartered Wacoal Holdings Corp. in 2012.

 

During her tenure the company grew from a £30m turnover UK centric business to achieve sales volume of almost £100m by 2015 with more than 60% of this coming from export markets, spanning over 50 countries. The sale to the Wacoal Group valued the business at £148m, generating a 3.8x return on investment for minority shareholder Lloyds Development Capital, (LDC).

 

Tracy was the recipient of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award for UK PE backed businesses in 2012 and was named CEO of the year for the Midlands by the British Venture Capital Association in 2013.

 

Her previous executive roles included management positions within Marks & Spencer Plc, Mothercare Plc and Next Plc. Tracy was also a Non-Executive Director of LDC backed Original Additions (Beauty) Ltd, a global distributor of beauty products, until March 2016, when the business was sold to US-based PDC Brands.

 

Tracy will chair the Nomination committee and be a member of both the Audit and Remuneration committees.
