Shepston has been appointed chief legal officer. Shepston previously spent 16 years with Denver-based Davis Graham & Stubbs
LLP, a leading regional corporate law firm where she was a partner and practiced with the Corporate Finance and Acquisitions
Group.
Shepston joins DMC with expertise in securities law, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border equity and debt transactions, and
contract negotiation and execution. She has advised public and private company boards on issues of fiduciary duty, risk
management and oversight. She also has served a broad spectrum of corporate clients, including several in the energy and
natural resource industries.

Shepston worked with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission prior joining Davis, Graham & Stubbs. She earned a juris
doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law and a bachelor's of science from the University of Illinois. She is a
member of the Women's, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, and a frequent speaker on issues of securities, oil and gas,
and mining law.
