  • Gevo, Inc. (NASDAQ: GEVO) shares tumbled 28.6 percent to $0.500. Gevo priced $15.6 million offering of common stock and warrants.
  • Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ: TSCO) declined 15.7 percent to $70.38 as the company lowered its full-year forecast. Several analysts downgraded the stock following weak outlook.
  • Pier 1 Imports Inc (NYSE: PIR) shares dropped 14 percent to $4.13 after the company reported weak preliminary results for its second quarter. The company also announced that its Alex Smith will step down as CEO at the end of the year. Credit Suisse downgraded Pier 1 Imports from Neutral to Underperform, while Oppenheimer downgraded the stock from Outperform to Perform.
  • Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ: NLST) declined 12.1 percent to $1.50. Netlist reported an offering of $15 million in common shares.
  • Skypeople Fruit Juice Inc (NASDAQ: SPU) shares fell 8 percent to $10.70. Skypeople Fruit Juice shares have surged 45.50 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 11.01 percent in the same period.
  • SUPERVALU INC. (NYSE: SVU) dropped 7.9 percent to $5.04 after the company lowered its profit forecast for the year.
  • Magal Security Systems Ltd. (USA) (NASDAQ: MAGS) fell 7.4 percent to $4.40. Magal Security announced the commencement of rights offering for gross proceeds of $24 million.
  • Air Methods Corp (NASDAQ: AIRM) shares slipped 6.7 percent to $33.34 after the company reported preliminary patient transport and tourism passenger data for August.
  • Barnes & Noble Education Inc (NYSE: BNED) dropped 6.1 percent to $11.49. Barnes & Noble Education reported Q1 adjusted loss of $25.9 million on sales of $239.2 million. Comparable store sales dropped 2.8 percent in the quarter.
  • Solar Senior Capital Ltd (NASDAQ: SUNS) shares declined 5.6 percent to $15.97. Solar Senior Capital priced 4 million shares at $16.76 per share.
  • Western Refining Logistics LP (NYSE: WNRL) shares dropped 4 percent to $23.33 as the company announced an offering of 5.25 million common units. The company also reported the acquisition of certain terminalling, storage and other logistics assets from Western Refining, Inc. (NYSE: WNR).
  • American Homes 4 Rent (NYSE: AMH) fell 3 percent to $22.10. American Homes 4 Rent priced 43.5 million shares at $21.75 per share.
  • SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWR) shares declined 2.7 percent to $9.93. JMP Securities initiated coverage on SunPower with a Market Underperform rating.
  • Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) dropped 2.3 percent to $105.89. Apple introduced on Wednesday its new iPhone 7 and Watch 2. Wells Fargo downgraded Apple Inc from Outperform to Market Perform and lowered its valuation range estimate from $115-$125 to $105-$120.
  • Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co (NYSE: HPE) shares slipped 2.3 percent to $21.58. Hewlett Packard Enterprise posted better-than-expected Q3 earnings, but revenue missed estimates. Hewlett Packard Enterprise also announced it was spinning off and merging its software division with Britain’s Micro Focus International PLC, in a deal valued at roughly $8.8 billion.
