SAP Hybris Americas Summit to Guide Customers and Partners Beyond Traditional Customer Engagement and Accelerate Digital Transformation

SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that it will host its annual SAP Hybris Americas Summit from October 12-14 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa. Previously known as the Americas Customer Days and Game Plan B2B Conference, the event will gather SAP Hybris executives, customers, partners, and industry experts to share best practices in digital transformation.

Aligning with the event theme “Go Beyond,” attendees will discuss ways to enable sales, commerce, marketing, billing, and customer service teams to go beyond business as usual and seize new opportunities across business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketplaces. To kick off the event, SAP Hybris President Carsten Thoma and a roster of the organization’s senior leaders will take the stage to discuss their latest innovations. Rounding out Thursday’s keynote agenda will be a dedicated customer panel.

Another focus of the event will be the burgeoning area of microservices. A cornerstone of the company’s innovation is SAP Hybris as a Service on SAP HANA Cloud Platform (known informally as “YaaS”), a cloud-based microservices ecosystem that allows customers and partners to publish, discover, and consume business applications. Developers will be interested in how they can use the environment to create new services and apps faster by using microservices, while more business-oriented attendees of the Americas Summit will learn how the platform can serve as a one-stop shop to help them embed their business into an ecosystem, or even transform into a business platform themselves.

Additional sessions on the agenda include partner-led presentations on topics ranging from new tools and techniques for the changing face of customer engagement to sessions offering tips for engaging the digitally empowered customer. Customers will also share their stories of success using SAP Hybris technology and best practices for customer engagement.

During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to witness technology demonstrations and network with solution-specific leaders. And Hybris Labs will be on hand to showcase one of SAP Hybris’ latest interactive prototypes, giving attendees the chance to experience the future of retail.
