WESTERLY, R.I., Sept. 15, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc., (NASDAQ:WASH), today declared a quarterly dividend of 37 cents
per share for the quarter ending September 30, 2016. This represents a one-cent per share increase over the most recent quarterly
dividend rate, and the Company’s second dividend increase in 2016. The dividend will be paid October 14, 2016 to shareholders of
record on October 3, 2016.
