Stocks Hitting 52-Week Highs

NXPI, QCOM

 

  • Lexmark International Inc (NYSE: LXK) shares rose 13.4 percent to reach a new 52-week high of $39.93 after the company disclosed that it has received clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States to proceed with proposed buyout.
  • QUALCOMM, Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) shares rose 3.1 percent to touch a new 52-week high of $69.52. QUALCOMM, is said in talks to acquire NXP Semiconductors, according to sources as reported by Dow Jones on Thursday. The sources said a deal, which could happen over the next two to three months, would likely be valued at over $30 billion, though NXP's market cap was already over $32 billion following the report. Mizuho Securities upgraded Qualcomm from Neutral to Buy.
  • Dover Motorsports, Inc. (NYSE: DVD) shares touched a new 52-week high of $2.54. Dover Motorsports shares have gained 6.06 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has increased 12.04 percent in the same period.
  • NXP Semiconductors NV (NASDAQ: NXPI) shares rose 6.9 percent to touch a new 52-week high of $102.70. QUALCOMM, is said in talks to acquire NXP Semiconductors, according to sources as reported by Dow Jones on Thursday.
