ICU Medical reported preliminary Q3 adjusted earnings of $1.20 per share on sales of $96 million.
  • Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation (NASDAQ: BGFV) shares moved up 11.2 percent to $15.42. The volume of Big 5 Sporting Goods traded was 494 percent higher than normal. Deutsche Bank upgraded Big 5 Sporting Goods from Hold to Buy.
  • Lam Research Corporation (NASDAQ: LRCX) shares gained 2.4 percent to $98.48. The volume of Lam Research shares traded was 478 percent higher than normal. Owing to regulatory hurdles, Lam Research and KLA-Tencor Corp (NASDAQ: KLAC) have mutually agreed to terminate their proposed merger.
  • Zumiez Inc. (NASDAQ: ZUMZ) shares rose 12.3 percent to $20.51. The volume of Zumiez shares traded was 383 percent higher than normal. Zumiez reported an 11.5 percent rise in its September sales and raised its Q3 revenue guidance.
