VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 12, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tinkerine Studios Ltd. (“Tinkerine” or the
“Company”) (TSXV:TTD) (FSE:WKN WB6B) (OTC:TKSTF) is pleased to announce the launch of Tinkerine Challenges for the
Tinkerine U Platform. These design challenges are built to create a foundation in application development related to 3D printing
for education, and will provide a tool set for educators looking to successfully bring 3D printers into the classroom.
The Tinkerine Challenges are designed with our students learning outcome in mind. “To fully understand the
applications of 3D printing and where it can bring the greatest value, we must look towards design thinking as the foundation,”
says Eugene Suyu, President and CEO of Tinkerine.
The Tinkerine Challenges being launched will help our educators and students fully utilize the hardware and
software products designed and manufactured by Tinkerine. More importantly, it will develop literacy in design thinking for a new
wave of applications. These are the first steps to pushing the forefront of applications that not only showcase the untapped
capabilities of 3D printing technology, but also build the foundation of knowledge and skill set for our customers.
As we increase interaction with our customer base of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and
Mathematics) educators and students, additional Tinkerine Challenges will be added to the Tinkerine U platform to facilitate
responsive learning programs.
The initial Tinkerine Challenges can be accessed on the Tinkerine U platform at u.tinkerine.com.
