GLENDALE, Calif., Nov. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- DineEquity, Inc. (NYSE: DIN), the parent company of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar® and IHOP® restaurants, today announced approval by its Board of Directors of a 5.4% increase, or $0.05 per outstanding share of common stock, in the Company's quarterly cash dividend to $0.97 per outstanding share of common stock.  The dividend for the fourth quarter of 2016 will be payable on January 6, 2017 to the Company's stockholders of record at the close of business on December 16, 2016.
