  • Cogint, Inc. (NASDAQ: COGT) surged 25.2 percent to $3.69.
  • Medallion Financial Corp (NASDAQ: MFIN) gained 19.9 percent to $3.91 following Q3 results. Medallion Financial reported Q3 earnings of $5 million on revenue of $2 million.
  • Ionis Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: IONS) climbed 19.5 percent to $32.43. Biogen and Ionis Pharmaceuticals disclosed that SPINRAZA has met the primary endpoint at interim analysis of Phase 3 CHERISH study.
  • Datalink Corporation (NASDAQ: DTLK) shares climbed 18.5 percent to $11.17 after Insight Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: NSIT) announced plans to acquire Datalink for $11.25 per share in cash.
  • LendingClub Corp (NYSE: LC) shares surged 17.4 percent to $6.02 as the company reported a smaller loss than analysts estimated for the third quarter.
  • Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA (ADR) (NYSE: GOL) shares rose 14.2 percent to $24.67. Gol Linhas reported a Q3 loss of $277,000 on revenue of $740.2 million.

  • Biogen Inc (NASDAQ: BIIB) gained 6.6 percent to $295.27. Biogen and Ionis Pharmaceuticals disclosed that SPINRAZA has met the primary endpoint at interim analysis of Phase 3 CHERISH study. Piper Jaffray upgraded Biogen from Neutral to Overweight.
  • SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWR) shares rose 6.5 percent to $7.09. SunPower and GRID Alternatives disclosed a new three-year partnership.
  • Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ: CGNX) gained 6 percent to $53.81. CLSA upgraded Cognex from Underperform to Outperform.
  • Potbelly Corp (NASDAQ: PBPB) rose 5.5 percent to $12.55. Maxim Group upgraded Potbelly from Hold to Buy.
  • Cempra Inc (NASDAQ: CEMP) shares rose 3 percent to $7.78 in pre-market trading as the company said that a majority of the US FDA’s Antimicrobial Drugs Advisory Committee [AMDAC] had voted in favor of the efficacy results of solithromycin outweighing the risks.
  • MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) shares gained 2.8 percent to $27.14 as the company delivered better than expected earnings for the third quarter.
  • Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) shares rose 2.6 percent to $96.70 after the company disclosed that it has been awarded a $43 million follow-on contract by the National Cancer Institute's Center for Cancer Research. Cowen & Co. upgraded Harris from Market Perform to Outperform.
