TransEnterix to Feature Senhance™ Surgical Robot at American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists
Showcasing new robot at the leading association of minimally invasive gynecology
TransEnterix, Inc. (NYSE MKT: TRXC), a medical device company that is pioneering the use of robotics to improve minimally
invasive surgery, today announced that it will exhibit and feature the Senhance™ Surgical Robot System (the “Senhance”) at the 45th
American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) Global Congress. The congress will be held on November 16-18, 2016 in
Orlando, FL.
The Senhance will be available for surgeon evaluations at the congress. Surgeons may schedule system evaluations by signing up
at the TransEnterix booth. Dr. Salvatore Gueli Alletti from the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the Catholic University of the
Sacred Heart in Rome, Italy, will headline a special symposium dedicated to the clinical experience of the Senhance in Gynecologic
Surgery. The symposium will be held on the morning of Wednesday, November 16, 2016, and participants must register through the AAGL
to attend.
The Senhance carries the CE Mark for use in general surgery, gynecology, urology and thoracic surgery but is not available for
sale in the US. TransEnterix is preparing a 510(k) submission for the Senhance.
