0.12 percent to $73.40 in after-hours trading.

NetApp Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP) reported
better-than-expected earnings for its second quarter and issued a strong earnings forecast for the current quarter. NetApp
shares limbed 10.83 percent to $38.49 in the after-hours trading session.
- After the markets close, Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAT) is expected to post its quarterly earnings at $0.65 per share on revenue of
$3.31 billion. Applied Materials shares rose 0.60 percent to $30.20 in after-hours trading.
- Analysts are expecting Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLS) to have earned $0.34 per share on revenue of $5.40 billion in the latest
quarter. Staples will release earnings before the markets open. Staples shares gained 1.89 percent to $9.15 in after-hours
trading.

Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO) reported
upbeat earnings for its fiscal first quarter, but issued a weak outlook for the current quarter. Cisco shares dropped 4.34
percent to $30.20 in the after-hours trading session.

cut 27 percent of its global workforce and issued a weak sales forecast for 2017. However, the company raised its adjusted

- Before the opening bell, Helmerich & Payne, Inc. (NYSE: HP) is projected to report a quarterly loss at $0.42 per share on revenue of $302.20
million. Helmerich & Payne shares dropped 1.05 percent to close at $65.94 on Wednesday.

earnings for its third quarter. However, the company issued a weak earnings forecast for the fourth quarter. L Brands shares
dropped 2.53 percent to $66.21 in the after-hours trading session.
- Analysts expect Best Buy Co Inc (NYSE: BBY) to
report quarterly earnings at $0.47 per share on revenue of $8.85 billion before the opening bell. Best Buy shares fell 0.96
percent to $40.06 in after-hours trading.
- Before the markets open, J M Smucker Co (NYSE: SJM) is expected to report its quarterly earnings at $1.93 per share on revenue of
$2.00 billion. Smucker shares gained 1.58 percent to $132.00 in after-hours trading.
