County Bank (OTCQX: SCZC), a top rated, high performing bank, announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash
dividend in the amount of $0.05 per share. The dividend is payable on January 10, 2017 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 30,
2016. This is the fifteenth consecutive quarterly cash dividend declared by the bank.
The bank reported a record $4.7 million in net income for the nine-month period ended
September 30, 2016, an increase of 17%, compared to the nine-month period ended September 30, 2015. The book value per share of Santa Cruz County Bank's common stock at September 30, 2016 was $22.41, compared to $19.81
as of September 30, 2015. Shareholders' equity grew to $49 million, a
15% or $6.5 million increase compared to September 30, 2015. Record
third quarter and year to date earnings again placed Santa Cruz County Bank in the top ranking for overall performance for
California banks by Financial Management Consulting (FMC) Group.
