EcoSynthetix Announces New Board Member

BURLINGTON, ON, Jan. 9, 2017 /CNW/ - EcoSynthetix Inc. (TSX: ECO) ("EcoSynthetix" or the "Company"), a renewable chemicals company that produces a portfolio of commercially proven bio-based products, today announced that Mr. Martin Hubbes has been appointed to the Board of Directors and Dr. Arthur Carty has decided to retire from the Board.

Mr. Hubbes brings decades of investment industry and capital markets experience to the Board.  As Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at AGF Investments, he led a team of investment professionals managing more than $35 billion in assets.  Prior to his appointment as CIO in 2005, he was a Portfolio Manager at AGF overseeing an investment portfolio of more than $5 billion.  Mr. Hubbes is currently managing personal investments in early-stage companies.
