  • Rentech, Inc. (NASDAQ: RTK) shares declined 45.5 percent to $1.50 after the company disclosed that it has decided to idle its Wawa facility. Rentech is also exploring strategic alternatives for the firm.
  • Cidara Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: CDTX) shares dropped 40.8 percent to $6.93 after the company disclosed unfavorable results of Phase 2 RADIANT trial of CD101 topical in VVC.
  • Trevena Inc (NASDAQ: TRVN) shares dipped 33.3 percent to $4.76 despite a positive development in Phase 3 trials. Trevena announced positive top-line results from ongoing Phase 3 trials called "APOLLO-1" and "APOLLO-2." The studies evaluated the safety of Trevena's oliceridine therapy in patients for 48 hours following bunionectomy and 24 hours following abdominoplasty.
  • Global Eagle Entertainment Inc (NASDAQ: ENT) shares fell 26.7 percent to $4.56. Global Eagle named Jeff Leddy as Chief Executive Officer. Dave Davis resigned as CEO effective February 20, 2017.
  • DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ: DRYS) shares tumbled 25.5 percent to $3.33. DryShips disclosed that it has entered into a $200 million common stock purchase agreement with Kalani Investments Limited and agreed to acquire two modern tanker vessels for $102.5 million.

  • Albany Molecular Research, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMRI) shares tumbled 13.7 percent to $16.07 after the company posted weak quarterly results.
  • Unilever plc (ADR) (NYSE: UL) shares declined 8.4 percent to $44.46. Unilever and Kraft Heinz announced Kraft Heinz has amicably agreed to withdraw its proposal for a combination of the companies.
  • Unilever N.V. (ADR) (NYSE: UN) dropped 8.4 percent to $44.70.
  • HSBC Holdings plc (ADR) (NYSE: HSBC) shares declined 5.6 percent to $41.46 after the company posted a drop in its profit.
  • Freeport-McMoRan Inc (NYSE: FCX) shares fell 4.6 percent to $14.22. Deutsche Bank downgraded Freeport-McMoRan from Hold to Sell.
  • Kraft Heinz Co (NASDAQ: KHC) fell 3.2 percent to $93.55 after it dropped its $143 billion takeover offer for Unilever.
