Tredegar Announces Changes to Its Board of Directors
Tredegar Corporation (NYSE:TG) announced upcoming changes to its board of directors after its meeting earlier today. George A.
Newbill will retire from the board, effective as of the annual meeting on May 17, 2017. Mr. Newbill has been a member of the board
since 2008. The board appointed John M. Steitz as a director, effective immediately. Mr. Steitz has been nominated for election by
Tredegar’s shareholders at the annual meeting in May.
Mr. Steitz has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Addivant Corporation, a leading manufacturer of
performance-based polymer additives since 2015. Previously, Mr. Steitz served as President and Chief Operating Officer of PQ
Corporation, a leading producer of specialty inorganic performance chemicals, and as Chief Operating Officer of Albemarle
Corporation from 2007 to 2012. Mr. Steitz is also a director of Innophos Holdings, Inc., a producer of specialty grade phosphate
products.
