Graphene 3D Lab Inc. (TSX-V: GGG, OTCQB: GPHBF) (“Graphene 3D”), a world leader in the
development, manufacturing and marketing of proprietary composites and coatings based on graphene and other advanced
materials , announces an addition to its G6-Epoxy TM line of adhesives. This new
product, G6E-GS TM epoxy, is a highly electrically conductive adhesive based on the combination of
graphene and silver additives. It has a volume resistivity as low as 0.0001 Ω·cm and can be cured at room temperature or more
rapidly at elevated temperatures. G6E-GS TM bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals,
composites, ceramics, and glass.
The graphene filler enhances the electrical conductivity of the epoxy and prevents the propagation of cracks,
improving the material's durability and fatigue resistance. This is especially important when bonding dissimilar materials
subjected to rapid temperature variations. This feature improves impact resistance of the bond and also helps mitigate potential
damage caused by vibration.
With the release of this product, the company is addressing the Electrically Conductive Adhesives (ECA) market
which was estimated to be $1.2 Billion USD in 2015 (according to IDTechEx) and is projected to reach an estimated $2.53 Billion USD
by 202,1 a CAGR of 8.48% from 2016 to 2021, according to the report by the MarketsandMarkets market research firm.
ECAs are considered a replacement for traditional tin-lead solders and their f ast growing
demand is driven by the increase in the use of electronic components in various industries such as aerospace, automotive, 3D
printing, consumer electronics, and medical devices.
Targeted sectors for the G6E-GS TM resins include: industrial, high-tech, educational
and DIY. In industrial applications, surface-mounted electronic devices are the leading application segment and account for over
40% of the total market volume. Examples of such uses include terminal attachments to light emitting diodes (LEDs) and solar
cells, hybrid microcircuits, including Monolithic Microwave Integrated
Circuits ( MMICs), silicon integrated circuits, 3D antennas, Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) tags and thin film electronics.
This conductive adhesive can also be used by the 3D printing community for the purpose of
fabricating conductive traces and to bond the electrical components to 3D printed circuit boards and Arduino projects. Household
applications include rear window defrosters and household electronic repair such as electronic toys and entertainment
systems.
G6E-GS TM epoxy is available for immediate sale. The Company invites
commercial enquiries for this product. For technical information, please visit https://g6-epoxy.c om/
