AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AMC) (“AMC” or “the Company”), the largest theatrical exhibition company in the U.S., in
Europe and in the world, and an industry leader in innovation and operational excellence, today announced that it has posted an
updated and revised Fourth Quarter and Year-End 2016 results press release and corresponding updated and revised CFO Commentary to
its website at www.investor.amctheatres.com. The Company has also filed copies of the updated press release and CFO Commentary
with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Form 8-K/A.
On March 8, 2017, the Company reached an agreement to settle litigation that was pending as of December 31, 2016, giving rise to
a recognized subsequent event resulting in an increase of $7,000,000 in other general and administrative expenses for the fourth
quarter and full year ended December 31, 2016. As a result, net earnings were reduced by $4,270,000 and diluted earnings per
share were reduced by $0.04 for both the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2016.
Previously reported results for the first three quarters of 2016 were not affected by the settlement. The Company’s Form 10-K
