Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

  • Wall Street expects Cal-Maine Foods Inc (NASDAQ: CALM) to report quarterly earnings at $0.22 per share on revenue of $325.22 million before the opening bell. Cal-Maine shares rose 0.13 percent to close at $37.35 on Friday.
  • Analysts are expecting Red Hat Inc (NYSE: RHT) to have earned $0.61 per share on revenue of $618.76 million in the latest quarter. Red Hat will release earnings after the markets close. Red Hat shares gained 0.24 percent to close at $82.96 on Friday.
  • Reuters reported that Evolent Health Inc (NYSE: EVH) is exploring a merger with The Advisory Board Company (NASDAQ: ABCO), according to sources. Evolent Health shares gained 4.77 percent to close at $20.85 on Friday, while Advisory Board shares closed at $44.70 on Friday.
  • After the closing bell, SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX) is projected to post its quarterly earnings at $1.66 per share on revenue of $3.48 billion. SYNNEX shares slipped 0.03 percent to close at $116.94 on Friday.
  • Analysts expect G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. (NASDAQ: GIII) to post a quarterly loss at $0.10 per share on revenue of $622.76 million after the closing bell. G-III Apparel shares fell 0.17 percent to close at $22.92 on Friday.
