VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 06, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VR Resources Ltd. (TSX.V:VRR) (FSE:5VR) the
("Company"), provides the following update to corporate financial matters:
- change of auditors from MNP LLP (the “Former Auditors”) to Davidson & Company (the “Successor Auditors”), effective April 6,
2017;
- change of fiscal year end from December 31st to March 31st.
The change of auditor and year end will facilitate efficiencies in administration, accounting and production of the
annual audited financial statements going forward.
At the request of the Company, the Former Auditors resigned as auditors for the Company effective April 6, 2017,
and the board of directors of the Company appointed the Successor Auditor as the Company’s auditor effective April 6, 2017, until
the close of the next Annual General Meeting of the Company.
There were no reservations in the Former Auditors' reports for the two most recently-completed fiscal years or for
any period subsequent to the more recently completed period for which an audit report was issued and preceding the date of the
Former Auditors’ resignation. There are no reportable events between the Company and the Former Auditors. The board of
directors has also resolved to change the Company's fiscal year end from December 31st to March 31st
effective immediately.
The Notice of Change of Auditors, together with the letter from the Former Auditors and the letter from the
Successor Auditors have been reviewed by the Company’s audit committee and board of directors and will be filed on SEDAR
accordingly.
For details regarding the length and ending dates of the financial periods, including the comparative periods, of
the interim and annual financial statements to be filed for the Company's transition year and its new financial year, reference is
made to the Notice of Change of Fiscal Year End filed by the Company on SEDAR pursuant to National Instrument 51-102.
