ilani Selects TransAct’s Industry-Leading Epic 950® Gaming Device Printer to Power All 2,500 Slot Machines at Washington’s Newest Casino

TransAct Technologies Incorporated (Nasdaq: TACT) (“TransAct” or “the Company”), a global leader in software-driven technology and printing solutions for high-growth markets, announced today that ilani, Washington State’s newest gaming entertainment destination developed by Salishan-Mohegan LLC in conjunction with the Cowlitz Indian Tribe, has selected TransAct’s industry-leading Epic 950® as its ticket-in/ticket-out (“TITO”) printer of choice. The Epic 950 will exclusively power the printing needs of the 2,500 slot machines on ilani’s 100,000 square foot casino floor when it opens in late Spring 2017.

The Epic 950 is the global casino industry’s TITO printer of choice thanks to the combination of its proven reliability and TransAct’s unmatched customer support. With a worldwide installed base of more than 500,000 units, the Epic 950’s TicketBurst™ technology eliminates player/ticket interference and reduces attendant calls, allowing for more efficient slot floor operations. Additionally, the award-winning Epic 950 is easily integrated into all game types and is fully compatible with TransAct’s Epicentral promotion and bonus print system.

“TransAct is excited to support ilani with our Epic 950 gaming device printer as the Cowlitz tribe and their development partners prepare to open their beautiful new casino later this month,” said Bart C. Shuldman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TransAct Technologies. “With our history of powering the printing needs of casino floors throughout Washignton, ilani is the latest to recognize that our proven TITO printer will drive a strong investment return while providing a path for potential future upgrades. Furthermore, ilani will greatly benefit from the Epic 950’s quality and reliability as well as our unmatched customer support.”

Jeff Walker, Vice President of Gaming Operations at ilani, added, “Throughout the development of ilani, Washington’s premier gaming entertainment destination, we have sought to work with partners that can support our goal of creating the region’s newest, most innovative casino floor. As we looked to select a TITO printing vendor to power the latest assortment of slot gaming options at ilani, TransAct’s Epic 950 was a no brainer, particularly as our team has deep experience with the Epic 950’s advanced technology, functionality and reliability. We believe installing the Epic 950 in our 2,500 slot machines will allow our team to be more efficient, give us access to TransAct’s world class customer support and provide us with the long-term option to deploy Epicentral as we deliver a leading-edge casino gaming experience for our guests.”

ilani, located in Ridgefield, Washington off Interstate 5 and developed by Salishan-Mohegan LLC in collaboration with the Cowlitz Indian Tribe, will feature a 100,000 square foot gaming floor with 2,500 slots and 75 gaming tables. Serving the greater Portland metropolitan area, ilani will offer a premier gaming, dining, entertainment and meeting destination with 15 restaurants, bars and retail outlets as well as a 2,500-seat meeting and entertainment venue.
