DaVita to Commence 18th Annual Event Today

More than 4,000 teammates to arrive in Denver

DENVER, April 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DaVita Kidney Care , a division of DaVita Inc. (NYSE: DVA), and a leading provider of kidney care services in the United States, will welcome more than 4,000 teammates to downtown Denver today to celebrate and acknowledge its differentiated workplace during the company's annual meeting, called Villagewide.

DaVita's Villagewide has been held the past 18 years, and in addition to celebrating exemplary teammates, the three-day event also serves as a training and development program that focuses on personal growth, clinical quality and teammate camaraderie.

Teammates from all 13 countries (including the United States) in which DaVita operates will arrive at Denver International Airport today and occupy 11 of the city's hotels. The majority of the week's activities will take place at the Colorado Convention Center, resulting in an overall estimated impact of nearly $9.5 million on Denver's economy.

Continuing an annual tradition, Villagewide will kick off with a community service project, known as a Village Service Day within DaVita. More than 4,000 DaVita teammates will participate, making this the company's biggest Village Service Day yet. The project details will not be revealed to teammates until this evening.
