Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

  • Wall Street expects Exelon Corporation (NYSE: EXC) to report quarterly earnings at $0.63 per share on revenue of $8.25 billion before the opening bell. Exelon shares gained 0.38 percent to close at $34.46 on Tuesday.
  • Analysts expect Facebook Inc (NASDAQ: FB) to post quarterly earnings at $1.12 per share on revenue of $7.82 billion after the closing bell. Facebook shares declined 0.09 percent to $152.65 in after-hours trading.
  • Before the markets open, Reynolds American, Inc. (NYSE: RAI) is estimated to report quarterly earnings at $0.58 per share on revenue of $3.04 billion. Reynolds American shares rose 0.76 percent to close at $64.87 on Tuesday.
  • Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) posted upbeat earnings for its second quarter and announced a $50 billion buyback plan. iPhone unit sales dropped 1 percent year-over-year in the quarter, while iPad unit sales declined 13percent year-over-year. Apple shares slipped 1.84 percent to $144.80 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) to have earned $0.61 per share on revenue of $1.34 billion in the latest quarter. Yum will release earnings before the markets open. Yum! shares slipped 0.21 percent to $66.20 in after-hours trading.
  • After the closing bell, Prudential Financial Inc (NYSE: PRU) is expected to post quarterly earnings at $2.64 per share on revenue of $12.73 billion. Prudential Financial shares rose 0.09 percent to close at $107.56 on Tuesday.
  • Twilio Inc (NYSE: TWLO) posted better-than-expected results for its first quarter, but issued a weak forecast for the year. Twilio shares dipped 30.32 percent to $23.65 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Wall Street expects American International Group Inc (NYSE: AIG) to post quarterly earnings at $1.10 per share on revenue of $11.92 billion after the closing bell. AIG shares slipped 0.13 percent to close at $61.53 on Tuesday.

  • Analysts expect Time Warner Inc (NYSE: TWX) to report quarterly earnings at $1.46 per share on revenue of $7.67 billion before the opening bell. Time Warner shares gained 0.27 percent to close at $99.33 on Tuesday.
  • Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: GILD) posted downbeat earnings for its first quarter on Tuesday. Gilead Sciences shares dropped 2.54 percent to $66.85 in the after-hours trading session.
  • After the closing bell, Kraft Heinz Co (NASDAQ: KHC) is estimated to post quarterly earnings at $0.85 per share on revenue of $6.47 billion. Kraft Heinz shares dropped 0.53 percent to close at $89.00 on Tuesday.
