Giordano has more than 35 years of experience in corporate trust and the financial services industry, and helped lead U.S.
Bank’s CDO team to 53 percent market share in little more than four years. Prior to U.S. Bank, Giordano served in senior roles
at J.P. Morgan Chase, where he managed CDO, asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, and municipal and corporate
business.
“Joe has the deep experience and unwavering commitment to client success that I firmly believe will take our Global Corporate
Trust Services division to an even higher level of service,” said Gunjan Kedia, vice chairman of U.S. Bank Wealth Management &
Securities Services. “We are thrilled that he will be leading what is already a high-performing team of corporate trust
professionals.”
Giordano is succeeding Bryan Calder as president of Global Corporate Trust Services, who has announced his plans to retire this
summer. Calder has been with U.S. Bank since 2002 and has been instrumental in building the GCTS business into one of the leading
providers of corporate trust and escrow services, guiding the team to a #1 or #2 ranking in all GCTS products during the past three
years.
“Bryan has done an exemplary job in growing our corporate trust business into the industry leader it is today, and the most
trusted choice among clients. He has demonstrated a commitment to doing the right thing by our clients and putting their best
interests first,” Kedia said. “We wish him all the best in his retirement.”
