CN gives $100,000 to Canadian Red Cross spring flood appeal

MONTREAL, May 9, 2017 /CNW/ - CN (TSX: CNR) (NYSE:CNI) announced it will make a donation of $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross in support of relief efforts to aid victims of the flooding in hard hit areas of Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and British Columbia.

"The devastating impact of the flooding across the country has personally affected so many and saddens us all," said Luc Jobin, president and chief executive officer of CN. "Canadians are pulling together to help, and we hope our donation to the Red Cross will encourage others to support our neighbours across Canada in this time of great need."
