Director Appointment

Vancouver, BC - May 19, 2017, Corex Gold Corp. (TSXV: CGE) ("Corex" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Doug Ramshaw as a Director of the Company. Mr. Ramshaw currently serves in the capacity of VP Corporate Development. 

Mr. Ramshaw is a senior executive and corporate director with more than 20 years of experience in the mineral resource sector. His work has focused on mineral project evaluation, M&A, and business development strategies supporting corporate growth. Despite his executive roles in exploration and mineral development, he retains a hands-on approach to geological exploration, most recently spending time on field programs in Canada and Mexico.

Mr. Ramshaw previously worked as a mining analyst for an independent brokerage firm in London, U.K., and has served as President and CEO, and VP Business Development, for a number of publicly listed junior resource companies.

Mr. Ramshaw holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Mining Geology from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, in London, United Kingdom.

Mr. Ramshaw will be replacing Mr. Stephen Tong. The Company would like to thank Mr. Tong for his contributions to Gorex Gold during his tenure. 

The Company has also granted a total of 3,500,000 stock options to Officers, Directors and Consultants of the Company exercisable for $0.12 for a period of five years.
