Athene Holding Ltd. Announces Secondary Offering of Common Shares

Bermuda-based Athene Holding Ltd. (“Athene”) announced today the launch of an underwritten secondary offering (the “Offering”) of its Class A common shares. All of the 16,200,000 Class A common shares to be sold in the Offering are being sold by certain shareholders of Athene, and Athene will not receive any proceeds from the Offering. The underwriters may also exercise a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,430,000 Class A common shares from certain of the Athene selling shareholders at the Offering price, less the underwriting discount.

Athene’s Class A common shares on the New York Stock Exchange are listed under the symbol “ATH.”

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Barclays, Citigroup and Wells Fargo Securities are acting as joint book runners of the offering and representatives of the underwriters.
