NEW YORK, June 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- BNY Mellon, a
global leader in investment management and investment services, announced today that Peter Salvage
has joined the company in the newly-created role of Global Head, Hedge Fund Services. He will report to Chandresh Iyer, Chief Executive Officer of BNY Mellon's Global Alternative Investment Services and Structured
Products business.

hedge, credit and hybrid private equity funds."
In Salvage's new role, he will lead and execute the long-term strategy to drive growth in BNY Mellon's hedge fund
services business. As part of this mandate, he will play a critical role in the successful enterprise-wide delivery of
comprehensive solutions to the marketplace, and work to further develop long-lasting partnerships for BNY Mellon in the
alternative investment services industry.
Salvage joins from SS&C Technologies Hedge Fund Services where he was Managing Director based in London and New York. Prior to SS&C, he was Citibank's EMEA Head of
Hedge Fund Services and the business head/founder of Citi's OTC derivative and bank loan services. He previously served as Citi's
Global Head of Single Manager Hedge Fund Services and the head of Citi Prime Brokerage's portfolio management technology service.
Before joining Citi, he led JPMorgan's single manager hedge fund services business and was a management consultant to the
securities services industry. Prior to his financial services career, Salvage was a broadcast journalist based in Berlin covering wars in Bosnia, Sierra
Leone and Iraq.
Salvage is an acknowledged thought leader on services to hedge funds and credit funds, with many appearances in the
press and at industry conferences. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University, an M.S. from
Columbia University and a B.Sc. from The London School of
Economics.
