Las Vegas Chapter of Financial Executives International Names Randy Taylor Las Vegas Financial Executive of the Year – Manufacturing/Technology Category

EVRI

LAS VEGAS, June 27, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Everi Holdings Inc. (NYSE:EVRI) (“Everi” or the “Company”) today announced that the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Randy L. Taylor, was selected by the Las Vegas chapter of Financial Executives International (“FEI”) as the 2017 Las Vegas Financial Executive of the Year in the Manufacturing/Technology Category.  This year marks FEI Las Vegas’ introduction of the CFO of the Year awards which recognize individuals who have made a major impact within their company, have achieved success in the company’s growth and profitability, and have shown exemplary leadership skills throughout their career.  Mr. Taylor and four other category winners were recognized for their efforts at an awards ceremony on June 22, 2017 at the Silverton Casino in Las Vegas.

Mr. Taylor was selected from a group of eligible nominees who are finanancial executives serving companies of qualifying size and holding a qualifying title for a publicly or privately listed entity headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada for at least the past two years. Further, the accomplishments submitted under the Award Criteria must have occurred within those same two years.  Review and selection of category award winners was conducted by the FEI Las Vegas Board of Directors who reviewed several criteria for each nominee: leadership, team development, responsibility, planning and budgeting, control and reporting, social responsibility, and innovation. Within those criteria, nominees were assessed for use of judgment and insight to shape strategic organizational direction; ability to drive growth or mitigate a financial crisis; impact on their colleagues’ professional growth; mentorship; impact on organizational and community issues; and more.

Michael Rumbolz, President and Chief Executive Officer of Everi, commented on the award for Mr. Taylor, “I’m very pleased to see Randy honored by a group of his peers for the exemplarly leadership he has brought to Everi across a range of responsibilities that touch every part of our business.  Every day, Randy demonstrates the sound judgment, insights, strategic thinking and technical skills necessary to help Everi achieve our goals. This recognition is truly warranted and on behalf of everyone at Everi I commend him for his achievements and we look forward to continuing to benefit from his financial and strategic leadership in the years to come.”
