WASHINGTON, Aug. 14, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE:FCN) today announced the Company’s
Technology segment has partnered with kCura to provide clients with the combination of
Relativity and FTI Technology’s award-winning consulting and services. Relativity, an e-discovery software platform, is immediately
available along with e-discovery consulting and services from FTI Technology’s team of experts.
“Our e-discovery consulting and services are based on a client-centric approach to technologies and processes that create a
strategic advantage for our clients,” said Sophie Ross, Global Chief Executive Officer of the Technology segment at FTI Consulting.
“Becoming a Relativity Authorized Partner, together with other partnerships we have announced in 2017, demonstrates this commitment
and combines our industry-leading expertise with another market-leading technology solution.”
“We’re excited to welcome FTI Technology to our partner community. This is a great group with a global footprint and top-tier
consultants,” said Andrew Sieja, President and Chief Executive Officer of kCura. “By offering a hybrid approach with Relativity and
RelativityOne, FTI Technology can deliver whatever solution works best for their customers — on-premises or in the cloud — while
using their technical know-how to build on the platform and bring some unique applications to their offering.”
In support of FTI Technology’s e-discovery consulting and services expansion, the Company has added a team of legal industry
veterans, led by Daryl Teshima and Wendy King. Mr. Teshima joins as a Senior Managing Director from KPMG, where he managed
operations for the firm’s Forensic Technology business, including implementing and supporting Relativity in more than 15
geographies. Ms. King joins as a Managing Director from Kroll Ontrack, where she led the global offering of Relativity e-Discovery
Software, including the development of two Relativity Innovation Award-recognized solutions and a Relativity certification training
program.
Mr. Teshima, Ms. King and their team will leverage a client’s defined Relativity templates and workflows or recommend custom
processes and technology enhancements to quickly and cost-effectively deliver results. These enhancements will leverage existing
FTI Technology and Ringtail tools, including Bloomberg Chat ingestion, Ringtail Analytics and Ringtail Connect API.
FTI Technology is widely recognized as a leading provider of high-quality e-discovery consulting and services that span the
entire process. From legal holds and global data collections to legal review and production, FTI Technology consultants can assist
in developing policies, deploying technology or executing entire programs as a managed service. The Company is experienced in
managing data requirements within certain highly regulated industries and leading discovery efforts for a wide range of matters,
including Hart-Scott-Rodino second requests, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act matters and small, internal investigations. As part of
this, FTI Technology provides clients with a choice of technology and service options to best meet their particular needs.
