Signature Devices, Inc. Announces plans for integration of content channels on the Morpheus One platform
IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 28, 2017) - Signature Devices, Inc. (OTC PINK: SDVI) today announced plans to include licensed
content channels on its devices to further enhance its 4k capable video media server and player. This news follows the
announcement of a strong second Quarter of growth, where the company's revenue increased 128% from Quarter one of 2017. The
company also reported a positive Second Quarter net revenue of $16,077 vs net loss of $40,301 for the first quarter of 2017
"On Demand video content consumption is the primary driver for growth of content providers and developers like Netflix,
Amazon, Hulu and others. It's imperative that our customers have access to HiFi and High Bit Rate content to complement the ExHBR
enabled Morpheus family of video and audio delivery platforms like the Morpheus One," said Inas Azzam, President and CEO. The
Morpheus One is already off to a great start in sales without its official entry into the U.S. market, which is all set to happen
at the Cedia show in September in San Diego. The company also plans to unveil its artificial intelligence capabilities plus the
introduction of the micro player at show. The addition of content will make the entry into the U.S market that much more
appealing for distributors and installers. The goal is to turn Morpheus platform into a one stop entertainment hub which will
include access to personal content libraries, on demand video, streaming music and gaming capabilities. The full set of
capabilities could be available as early as Q2 of 2018.
The addition of content will give the company yet another source of recurring revenue either on a monthly subscription or on a
per user distribution model. The video on demand market size is projected to be $61 billion in 2019 according markets and markets
research firm. Roku, is the leader in the streaming device space at 37% in Q1 2017 from 30% a year ago, which equates to 15
million consumers according to
