Camden Property Trust Announces Closing of Offering of Common Shares
Camden Property Trust (NYSE:CPT) today announced the closing of a public offering of 4,750,000 common shares. The company
received net proceeds before expenses of approximately $442.6 million from the offering. Deutsche Bank Securities and J.P. Morgan,
the joint book-running managers for the offering, have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 712,500 common
shares. The underwriters may offer the common shares from time to time for sale in one or more transactions on the New York Stock
Exchange, in the over-the-counter market, through negotiated transactions or otherwise at market prices prevailing at the time of
sale, at prices related to prevailing market prices or at negotiated prices. Camden intends to use the net proceeds for general
corporate purposes, which may include financing for acquisitions and funding for development activities, reducing borrowings under
its $600 million unsecured line of credit, the repayment of other indebtedness, and the redemption or other repurchase of
outstanding debt or equity securities.
