FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 21, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V. (NASDAQ:PLYA) (“Playa”)
announced today the following regarding Hurricane Maria:
- Playa’s resorts in Mexico and Jamaica were not impacted by the storm’s path.
- Playa’s three resorts in the Dominican Republic sustained minor impact but no significant damage or injuries were
reported.
- Dreams La Romana and Dreams Palm Beach remain fully operational and sustained only minor damage to landscaping.
- Dreams Punta Cana was impacted more heavily and will remain closed for 3-4 days in order to complete a more thorough clean
up. Regular operations will resume shortly thereafter.
