Andrew Edwards, agoda's Global Director for Brand and Communications, said: "Singaporeans are widely regarded as foodies and shopaholics and our research indicates that this attitude also applies when they travel. It's perhaps surprising that domestic travel is so popular but that shows the rise of indulgent staycations here. A bit of luxury is at the heart of this trend."
