HONOLULU, Nov. 17, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Territorial Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ:TBNK) (the “Company”), headquartered in Honolulu,
Hawaii, the holding company parent of Territorial Savings Bank, announces that its Board of Directors has declared a special cash
dividend of $0.30 per share payable on December 20, 2017. This is an increase from the $0.20 special dividend paid a year ago in
December 2016. The dividend will be paid to shareholders of record as of December 6, 2017.
When this dividend is added to the special dividend of $0.10 per share paid earlier in June of this year, total special
dividends for 2017 will amount to $0.40 per share. This compares to total special dividends paid in 2016 of $0.20 per share.
