Transpartisan Voice, News and Discussion for Americans Turned off by Partisan Politics, Debuts on Maven

Political analysts and transpartisan scholars A. Lawrence Chickering and James S. Turner, who previously teamed up to create Transpartisan Review, have launched TranspartisanVoice.com on the digital media network Maven (MVEN).

Amplifying the opinions of American voters who do not identify with either majority party, the organization recognizes the nation is weakened when people who avoid partisan identity are disconnected from the levers of American institutional political power.

“Transpartisan Voice is proud to be associated with Maven,” said Turner. “This partnership will help us reach more people locally, nationally and globally who seek to reduce the combative nature of our contemporary politics. Maven’s platform provides independent publishers like us with technical tools, distribution and sponsorship so we can focus on creating great content and more effectively serving our audience. Working with Maven allows more individuals to join and help create less contentious, more collaborative politics.”

Turner is an original Nader’s Raider and Chickering was a long-time friend and associate of William F. Buckley, the father of modern American conservatism. Transpartisan Voice aims to transcend partisan opinions, empowering individuals to participate more effectively in shaping public discussions, which offers a collaborative, constructive solution to the divisive political rhetoric of our society today.

“Maven channels are operated exclusively by experts in their field, with a proven audience of loyal followers,” said Maven CEO James Heckman. “Transpartisan Voice brings inclusive, open-minded dialogue about current events from multiple perspectives without the hostile rhetoric that damages communities. Maven shares a similar goal as we expand our selection of channels representing multiple angles of the political spectrum.”

Transpartisan Voice joins Maven’s growing portfolio of political perspectives, including live channels The Resurgent, Being Liberal, Roaming Millennial and The Intellectualist.

Dozens of award-winning journalists, best-selling authors, top analysts, important causes and foundations are bringing their organizations to Maven’s coalition of elite content channels.

Maven is an expert-driven, group media network, whose innovative platform serves, by invitation-only, a coalition of professional, independent channel partners. By providing broader distribution, greater community engagement and efficient advertising and membership programs, Maven enables partners to focus on the key drivers of their business: creating, informing, sharing, discovering, leading and interacting with the communities and constituencies they serve.

Based in Seattle, Maven is publicly traded under the ticker symbol MVEN. The executive team includes digital media pioneers James Heckman and Josh Jacobs and technology innovators Bill Sornsin and Ben Joldersma. For more insight, head to themaven.net
