Bipartisan News and Social Forum Political Storm Expands Engagement on Digital Media Coalition Maven
Political news and conversation where discourse is center stage
Jon Saltzman’s bipartisan Political Storm, a channel providing news and encouraging political discussion, has moved to the digital media
coalition Maven (ticker symbol MVEN).
“Our goal is to raise political awareness through our social forum,” says Saltzman, the publisher and co-founder. “Political
Storm allows users to share political viewpoints, engage in the political debate and ultimately make a difference in their
community and across the country. Moving to Maven, with its intuitive publishing tools, exceptional support, and backend design
intended to drive traffic and engagement, allows us to significantly boost engagement.”
Saltzman, together with co-founder and wife Jo Saltzman, created Political Storm to bridge the divide in today’s political
climate. “We are a throwback to a time when discourse was encouraged. When people could go to a bar and match their wits over a
couple of cold brews. It was fun, it was exciting, but in the end you always enjoyed being able to get your voice heard, you
weren’t censored, and you still remained friends. Political Storm is our version of that place,” Saltzman added.
Political Storm joins Maven’s growing portfolio of political perspectives, including live channels Linda Sarsour, The Resurgent, Being Liberal, Roaming Millennial, Transpartisan Voice and The Intellectualist.
“Maven is the home for expert, independent publishers dedicated to engaging their loyal followers,” said Maven CEO James
Heckman. “Political Storm brings a diverse range of political viewpoints together, encouraging intelligent, open-minded debate. We
are pleased to welcome them to our growing array of political voices across the spectrum.”
Maven is a coalition of mavens operating on a single digital publishing, advertising and distribution platform, unified
under a single media brand. Based in Seattle, Maven is publicly traded under the ticker symbol MVEN.
