BMO Asset Management Inc. Launches Five New ETFs, Including Fixed Income Solutions

TORONTO, March 7, 2018 /CNW/ - BMO Asset Management Inc. (BMO AM) today launched five new Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)*. Among the new funds are three Canadian fixed income ETFs – including short-term bonds, corporate bonds, and government bonds – helping investors build and adjust portfolios with efficient, low cost ETFs.

The offering of the new ETFs has closed, and they will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange today:

BMO Short-Term Bond Index ETF (Ticker: ZSB): This ETF offers exposure to 1-5 year Canadian investment grade bonds.

BMO Corporate Bond Index ETF (Ticker: ZCB): This ETF offers exposure to Canadian investment grade corporate bonds across all sectors and maturities.

BMO Government Bond Index ETF (Ticker: ZGB): This ETF provides investors with exposure to Canadian federal, provincial and municipal bonds across all sectors and maturities.  

In addition, BMO is adding hedged and unhedged options to existing ETFs:

BMO Europe High Dividend Covered Call ETF (Ticker: ZWP): This ETF offers exposure to a portfolio of dividend paying European companies with a covered call overlay.

BMO US High Dividend Covered Call Hedged to CAD ETF (Ticker: ZWS): This ETF provides exposure to a portfolio of dividend paying U.S. companies with a covered call overlay.
