VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Madison Pacific Properties Inc. (TSX:MPC)
(TSX:MPC.C) (the Company), a Vancouver-based real estate company announces the results of operations for the six months ended
February 28, 2018.
The results reported are pursuant to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for public
companies.
For the six months ended February 28, 2018, the Company is reporting net income of $26.0 million (2017: $25.9
million); cash flows from operating activities before changes in non-cash operating balances of $6.9 million (2017: $6.5 million);
and income per share of $0.42 (2017: $0.43). Included in net income is an after-tax net gain from the fair value adjustment
on investment properties of $17.4 million (2017: $13.4 million).
The Company currently owns approximately $493 million in investment properties, comprised of 49 properties with
approximately 1.7 million rentable sq. ft. of industrial and commercial space. Approximately 99% of the available space, excluding
properties under development is currently leased.
