ARHT Media’s Holographic Telepresence Technology used at TED2018

ARHTQ

TORONTO, May 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ARHT Media Inc. (“ARHT” or “the Company”) (TSX-V:ART), a global leader in the development, production and distribution of high quality hologram content through its patented Augmented Reality Holographic Telepresence technology, is pleased to announce that the Company successfully holoported world renowned historian, Professor Yuval Noah Harari from Tel Aviv to the TED2018 conference held in Vancouver.

Professor Harari was holoported to TED2018 for his live address to the audience which was followed by a Q&A session, with Chris Anderson, the Head of TED.

“ARHT’s technology enabled Yuval to join us real-time in holographic form at TED2018 to present and address questions as if he was physically with us,” stated TED’s Director of Video and Production, Mina Sabet. “This technology will bode extremely well for similar circumstances when high profile speakers are unable to physically be present at one or multiple venues.  We were thrilled with the live audience reaction to Professor Harari’s address, especially when he and Chris were conversing on stage at the end of his talk.”

“TED is an iconic brand in the world of sharing new ideas on a global stage, and we were very happy to enable Yuval’s inclusion in this important conversation,” said ARHT CEO, Larry O’Reilly. “As we accelerate the number of large scale events we participate in, the demand for our services continues to grow.”

Professor Harari’s talk will post on TED.com May 18, 2018.
