A Deletion from the S&P/TSX Composite Index
TORONTO, May 29, 2018 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Indices
Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:
Vermilion Energy Inc. (TSX:VET) and Spartan Energy Corp. (TSX:SPE) have finalized a Plan of Arrangement. VET has acquired SPE
in a share exchange – terms are 0.1476 VET/SPE.
Effective at the open of trading on Friday, June 1, 2018, SPE will be removed from all
S&P/TSX indices where it is a constituent. The shares of VET will be increased to reflect the issuance of new shares as part
of the transaction.
